Well-lit piers and cooler temps make nighttime the right time to enjoy a little fishing. The camaraderie is fun, too. Find a nearby fishing spot at http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/wheretofish/
All fish that day were caught on either Rapala SW-08 or Super Spook jr. on 10lb test line (except flounder at the end, that was a ttf kfm) http://www.facebook.com/pages/South-Texas-Inshore-Fishing-956/182145141869963
Early Easter morning, 2012, to catch some fish on the surf, we did better than expected. Rough waves and bad tide mad the day look like it was bad but you never argue with a full moon. First cast before the weight hit the bottom whiting was on! Then caught 2 other small ones and a 2 pounder! also managed to catch a small spotted seatrout, 2 hardhead catfish, and a nice 3 pound Black Drum!
