We blistered the fish this day, 11 Striped Bass and 2 Black drum.  This was the Virginia trophy Rock season a few years ago, all fish caught on fresh peelers. 8/0 Gamakatsu circle hooks on fish finder rigs. We couldn’t get every fish on video they hammered us so fast. Best day on the surf we ever had.

Early Easter morning, 2012,  to catch some fish on the surf, we did better than expected. Rough waves and bad tide mad the day look like it was bad but you never argue with a full moon. First cast before the weight hit the bottom whiting was on! Then caught 2 other small ones and a 2 pounder! also managed to catch a small spotted seatrout, 2 hardhead catfish, and a nice 3 pound Black Drum!
