I got up at 5am (30min too earlier) and left the house before 6am. Got to our spot and started fishing by 6:30am, still dark out. My older brother threw his Mirrodine XL, young brother threw a DOA Shrimp while I stuck to my trusty Spook Jr. My older brother landed the first and biggest fish at 21″ and not too long after I landed my biggest of the day 20 1/2″. Early Easter morning, 2012, to catch some fish on the surf, we did better than expected. Rough waves and bad tide mad the day look like it was bad but you never argue with a full moon. First cast before the weight hit the bottom whiting was on! Then caught 2 other small ones and a 2 pounder! also managed to catch a small spotted seatrout, 2 hardhead catfish, and a nice 3 pound Black Drum!
