Originally Published on Feb 3, 2013 Feb 3, 2013 wade fishing. Cold morning but sucked it up and went fishing. Fishing was really good, unlike the last two weeks were we got skunked. Got the slam, trout, redfish, and flounder, with some extras “trash fish”. I’m fishing with my buddy Ken Jones aka “The saltwater fishing coach”.
Originally Published on Jan 3, 2013 First time using my GoPro, decided to go fishing before the cold front come through on Thursday, I didn’t expect to do so well because of the tide that morning. I was using the top pup by Mirrolure and then I switch to a Paul Brown Devil at the end of the day, both plastics produced nice trout.

Originally Published on Dec 23, 2012 I got a bite on every cast using shrimp. The bait was used up very quickly and if I had more bait it would have been eaten by a nice trout. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as good or better because I’m bringing 50% more bait. [Christ Fisherman has over 180 videos, mostly wade fishing FL waters on YouTube.]
Published on Dec 19, 2012 Needlefish stole most of the baits before the trout could get to the shrimp. I tried out my new rod that they gave me for Christmas at work. At sunrise the catfish and sharks were biting, but it did improve through the day. The fish were really biting in the afternoon but we left because we ran out of bait. 20 dozen shrimp would be nice to have next time. [Note: FL has a slot for speckled trout, similar to red drum slots found in most states.  Speckled trout must be 15-20″ with 1 permitted [More]
At Carolina Beach, NC catching, Puffers and Speckled Trout.  We are using bottom rigs and shrimp for bait.  Going to the beach is fun fishing just as well.  Oct 2012
