The surf was the flattest and the most clear I had ever seen it. The trout were schooling going back and forth all through the guts eating bait and swiping at pretty much anything that swam in front of them including our lures. The topwater blow ups were the most veracious I’d ever seen with trout. They were literally flying out of the water trying to grab out baits and sometimes missing it 2 or 3 times before finally getting it. The thing was it was hard to hook up on topwater because they were moving so fast and just swiping furiously at everything. So the plastics were what I found to land the most fish. I was using an 1/8 jig head and a pink down south lures and they loved it. We also saw a lot of sharks crashing on bait and trout and even had a few break my off. Kyle actually caught one on top water which was super sick, you can check that out on his channel (below). All the trout were big and fat and this is one of the best fishing days I’ve ever had. A lot of it i didn’t get on camera because of all the craziness going on but managed to get a few good clips. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
